The overnight parking ban takes effect on November 15th and continues throughout the winter until April 1st.  During that time, on-street parking is prohibited from 12 Midnight until 7:00AM to facilitate street cleanup in the event of snow or ice.  Owners of motor vehicles are encouraged to remove their cars from the street during these times to avoid $10.00 parking tickets for overnight parking.  Vehicles impeding snow removal will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.  Residents are also reminded that parking on any part of a sidewalk (whether it is plowed by the Town or not) is also a violation that carries a $10.00 fine.
